About Cornerstone Orphanage

Founded in 1999 by Mr. and Mrs. Joel Jijingi, Cornerstone Orphanage in Yelwa Kagadama, Bauchi, was born out of deep compassion for children affected by insurgency and deprived of education in North East Nigeria.

What began with just three children grew into a beacon of hope. Officially registered in 2007, the orphanage now provides a safe home and education to 65 children, and offers scholarships to over 100 more at Zion Pilgrims Christ School.

To provide a nurturing environment where orphaned and vulnerable children receive love, care, and education, empowering them to become confident, responsible individuals.

To care for the less privileged and internally displaced children, and raise a generation of leaders filled with hope and purpose.
